Delete your account
This page is for the Prasadam Android app, run by MahaPrasadam.
How to ask
Send an email to adarshkmeher@gmail.com from the Google account you use to sign in to the app, with the subject Delete my Prasadam account. You do not need to give a reason.
We write from the same address to confirm, so that nobody else can delete your account. We complete the deletion within 30 days of your request and email you when it is done.
What we delete
- Your account: your email address, your name, and your roll number if we held one.
- Your bookings, including the dishes, the plate counts and the booking codes.
- The records of your plates being collected at the counter.
After deletion you can no longer sign in to that account. Signing in again with the same Google account creates a new, empty one.
What we keep, and for how long
- Payment and refund records. We keep the amount, the Razorpay order and payment ids, the status, the dates, and the confirmation Razorpay sent us, which can include the phone number or email address you gave Razorpay at checkout. We keep these as financial records, so that a charge or a refund can still be traced. They are no longer linked to an account or a booking.
- Daily totals. Counts of plates booked and collected each day. They contain no names and cannot be traced to you.
Razorpay keeps its own record of your payments under its own privacy policy. To ask about that record, contact Razorpay.
Before you ask
If you hold a paid booking for a day that has not been served yet, collect it first, or tell us in your email that you give it up. A deleted account cannot show its booking code at the counter.
Deleting some data without deleting the account
Write to adarshkmeher@gmail.com and say what you want removed. Bookings are also deleted automatically 180 days after their serving day.
